Happy 5-Month Birthday!!

ADub is 5 months old today!!  Every day is such an adventure, from the poopy diapers to the incomprehensible baby talk to the infectious giggles.  He is already growing into such a wonderful little person.  Happy Birthday, baby boy!

Here's what happened this month:

  • Stop, drop, and ROLL!!  Prior to this month, we were only rolling from front to back, but newsflash! we are rolling from back to front now too.  Look out Aerosmith, ADub is redefining rock and ROLL!
  • Solid Food=Solid Poop.  Yes, folks, it's a simple math equation.  With the introduction of solid foods, we have yielded solid poop (something that can be quite fetid).
  • ADub is getting pretty good at passing objects from one hand to the next.  Soon, he'll be pulling rabbits out of hats; I'm sure of it.
  • Currently, his favorite song is "Blackbird" by the Beatles, and he requests it every night at bedtime.  I asked him what his favorite book is right now, and he's still deciding.
  • ADub went on his first big hike.  Although he slept through the majority of it, he assures me that he had a blazast (this kid and his language).
  • He officially has a "poop face."

And now for the photoshoot:
Bring on the beach and the babes.
Seriously, guys?
Helping mommy with the laundry.  She had to wash this tank again after I spit up on it.
Hey!  Can I use that to text my girlfriend?
Tasty fingers.
Made you smile.
Petting Maya instead of grabbing her ears.  I get in trouble when I do that.
Mommy and Daddy make the best food!
Shout out to my favorite aunt, Doubles Sharkwhisperer.  Wish you lived closer!
Coaxing me to roll over.
The squash is my favorite.
I love to eat!
....and eat!!
Hangin' with Pops.
Sweet pic.
Let me take some selfies now.
Oh yeah, these are great.
Hike day!
Just my daddy and me.
What's up, punk?!
Suave.
More suave.
More selfies.
A cross between prepping to crawl and downward dog.

Work it, blue eyes.
I'm the luckiest girl to have such a kick-ass family (pardon the language)!

I knew you were mine, like the earth knows the moon."
